A few weeks shy of seven months. Sensation on right side is improving, left side is so so. My scars are thinnest where my arms rub them. My right nipple is pretty much ‘popped out’, and my left one (right in this picture) is taking a little longer to catch up, but it’s slowly getting there. My chest is not lumpy, I was just laying down holding the computer to take this picture. Haha. I can see the places the stitches were holding the incisions, and I’m probably most bothered by this right now, because I’m not sure it’ll go away. I’ve gotten a little lazy (forgotten) to use the oils I purchased to massage my scars, but even so I can see that they’re getting lighter in color. They’re still getting a bit wide in the middle of my chest, in my opinion, but I’m also obsessing terribly over every little detail. The ring of darker skin around my left areola has started to settle down, even though it looks really bad in this picture. There is also a patch of pink scar tissue on the top of my right areola that I’m assuming isn’t going to get any pigment? Oh, also, my right areola/nipple is starting to actually feel like one; the skin moves around and is softer, and acts less like a circle of thick scar tissue. Left side still taking it’s sweet time. Of course.
